My Dashboards
Browse, build, and manage dashboards in DigiUsher — start from a ready-made FinOps, persona, or cloud-provider dashboard, or build your own by combining perspective, KPI, and anomaly widgets.
My Dashboards is where you browse and manage every dashboard available to your organization. DigiUsher ships with pre-defined dashboards for common personas and clouds, and you can also build your own custom dashboards by combining the views you care about. Open it from My Dashboards in the left sidebar.
Use My Dashboards when you need to:
- Land on a curated set of charts and metrics every time you open DigiUsher.
- Combine multiple perspectives, KPIs, and an anomaly overview into one page.
- Share a consistent view with a team, persona, or stakeholder.
- Export a board to PDF for offline review or distribution.
Cost Explorer must be enabled
Dashboards build on the same data as Cost Explorer. The page is only available in organizations where Cost Explorer is enabled.
Browsing Dashboards
The My Dashboards page shows pre-defined and custom dashboards together in a card layout.
- Search by name, description, or tag using the search box at the top.
- Sort by Recently Modified, Name (A-Z), or Name (Z-A).
- Pinned dashboards appear in a dedicated section above the full list. Pin any custom dashboard to keep it at the top.
Cards show the dashboard name, description, tags, and the last time the dashboard was updated.
Pre-defined Dashboards

Creating a Custom Dashboard
Click Create Dashboard from the top-right of the My Dashboards page.
Name and describe the dashboard
- Name is required (up to 255 characters).
- Description is optional (up to 1000 characters).
- Add up to 20 tags to make the dashboard easier to find in search. Each tag can be up to 100 characters.
Optionally add an initial widget
In the Widget section of the create form you can pick a Perspective to add as the first widget. For billing perspectives, choose the Cost Metric (Billed Cost, Effective Cost, or List Cost). You can skip this section and add widgets later.
Create
Click Create Dashboard. You are taken to the new dashboard's detail page, where you can add more widgets, change the date range, and configure each widget.
Widgets
Each dashboard can hold up to 20 widgets. There are three widget types.
| Widget | What it shows | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Perspective | A saved perspective rendered as a chart, table, or scorecard. | Supports Area Chart, Stacked Bar, Grouped Bar, Donut, Table, and Scorecard views. Recommendations perspectives are limited to Scorecard, Grouped Bar, Stacked Bar, Donut, and Table. |
| KPI | Up to 8 KPI definitions grouped by category. | Pick KPIs from the picker; each shows its current value and trend. |
| Anomaly Summary | A summary of detected anomalies for the dashboard's date range. | Automatically follows the dashboard date range. |
Adding a Widget
From a dashboard's detail page, click Add Widget in the top-right action bar.
Choose the widget type
Pick Perspective, KPI, or Anomaly Summary.
Give it an optional title
If you leave the title blank, the widget falls back to the perspective name (for perspective widgets) or a default like KPI Widget / Anomaly Summary.
Configure the widget
- Perspective: Select a perspective. For billing perspectives, pick a Cost Metric (Billed Cost, Effective Cost, or List Cost).
- KPI: Choose up to 8 KPIs from the picker. KPIs are grouped by category and searchable by name and description.
- Anomaly Summary: No additional configuration — the widget uses the dashboard's date range.
Add the widget
Click Add Widget. The widget appears at the end of the dashboard at the default Medium size.
Widget Controls
Each widget has a menu in its header for in-place configuration.
| Control | Available for | Options |
|---|---|---|
| Chart Type | Perspective widgets | Area Chart, Stacked Bar, Grouped Bar, Donut, Table, Scorecard (subject to the perspective type). |
| Widget Size | All widgets except KPI | Small, Medium, Large. Sizes map to a 4 / 6 / 12 column span on wide screens. |
| Metric | Billing perspective widgets | Billed Cost, Effective Cost, List Cost. |
| Remove Widget | All widgets | Removes the widget after a confirmation prompt. |
Reordering Widgets
Open the dashboard's actions menu (the ⋯ button) and choose Reorder Widgets. Drag widgets into the order you want and save. Reordering is only available once a dashboard has at least two widgets.
Date Range
The global date range picker at the top of each dashboard applies to every widget on the page. Perspective, anomaly summary, and unit-economics formula widgets all follow the selected range.
Dashboard Actions
The dashboard actions menu (⋯) on the detail page offers:
- Pin Dashboard / Unpin Dashboard — Surfaces the dashboard in the Pinned section of the My Dashboards browser. Pinning is available on custom dashboards.
- Reorder Widgets — Opens the reorder sheet (requires two or more widgets).
- Delete Dashboard — Permanently removes the dashboard and its widget configuration. You must type the dashboard's name to confirm.
When a dashboard has at least one widget, an Export PDF action is also available in the action bar.
Deletion is permanent
Deleting a dashboard removes its widget configuration as well. There is no undo — recreate the dashboard if you need it back.
