Allocation

Allocation helps teams understand how cloud spend is distributed across pools and business structures. Open it from Spend > Allocation in the left sidebar.

Use Allocation when you need to:

• Review total allocated cost for a selected period.
• Switch between available allocation views.
• Compare monthly or daily allocation trends.
• Break down allocated spend by service, region, or data source.
• Export allocation details for reporting.

Filters

Allocation includes filters for view, granularity, date range, breakdown dimensions, pool, service, region, and data source.

Use these filters together to narrow allocation data to the business unit, workload, or source you need to investigate.

Summary, Chart, and Table

The page starts with a total allocated cost summary. The chart shows allocation trends for the selected view and filters, while the table provides grouped allocation rows with cost totals and status.

Use table grouping controls to change the nesting order of pool, time period, and selected breakdown dimensions.

Detailed View

Use Detailed View from the page action bar when you need a more granular allocation report beyond the summary page.
