Unit Economics

Unit Economics connects spend to business or usage metrics so teams can track cost efficiency over time. Open it from Spend > Unit Economics in the left sidebar.

Use Unit Economics when you need to:

• Track spend per North Star Metric.
• Review unit-cost trends with filters and perspectives.
• Compare summary, chart, and table outputs in one workspace.
• Understand allocation context for the selected metric view.

North Star Metrics

Unit Economics requires at least one North Star Metric. If no metrics exist, the page prompts you to create one before analysis can begin.

North Star Metrics can be managed from the page action bar.

Perspectives

Use perspectives to save and reuse common Unit Economics views. This helps teams standardize recurring analysis around the same filters and metric definitions.

Analysis Workspace

The page includes filters, a summary area, a chart, a table, and an allocation side panel. Use these together to understand how spend translates into cost per unit for the selected scope.
